Pearl by Simon Tatham

Objective

String black and white dots (pearls) in a continuous loop (necklace) by connecting sections of the strand that holds them together according to the rules.

Rules

  1. Black pearls are always at a corner where at least 2 connected strand sections meet vertically with at least 2 connected strand sections horizontally.
  2. A black pearl may not be strung closer to another black pearl than two strand sections.
  3. White pearls are never at a corner. They are strung in a straight line between 2 strand sections ONE of which at its end opposite the white pearl must continue the necklace at a 90 degree angle.

Play

To place a strand section, click or touch the border between the two squares whose centers you wish to connect. Click or touch again to undo.
