LIZ CHENEY LANDSLIDE DEFEAT
GOP Torn from Bush Cadre's Grip
Tuesday, August 16, Liz Cheney took a beating at the polls in Wyoming courtesy of the Republican party. While many credit Trump's endorsement in this year's primary season as a powerful asset and Cheney with party treason, the curtain has been drooping – if not already dropped – on the Bush-Dick Cheney GOP death grip. In her concession speech Liz Cheney likened herself to Abraham Lincoln and held forth herself as an icon of virtue for having stood on righteous principles at the cost of her job in Congress. One must wonder what her proud papa must have thought of his oh-so courageous daughter as he mulled his propagation of mythical weapons of mass destruction and the lives wasted in his righteous invasion of Iraq. Liz wasn't standing on principle, she was standing up for daddy, W and Jeb who were so fragile all Trump had to do was "pull back the curtain" to expose their intellectual deficiency and resulting moral indignation. It was a tiny crowd of supporters who showed up to listen. Trump didn't beat Liz Cheney, the party had had a stomach-full of the Bushes and their cronies. The collective sigh of relief at the last exit from the stage was palpable.

8/18/22 "Cheney thinks of herself as another Abraham Lincoln, which is a joke, and explains why her arrogance has left her without a job or a political future. She’s now just a lame duck with a faint quack."

8/17/22 "Following her humiliating defeat in Tuesday’s Wyoming primary elections, soon-to-be-former Rep. Liz Cheney gave one of the most comically narcissistic speeches by a politician in recent memory."

8/17/22 "Cheney’s real problem is that she abandoned any effort to engage in policy and defined herself entirely as anti-Trump. Just look at her press releases, the vast majority of which have nothing to do with subjects that matter to the people of Wyoming..."

8/17/22 "Apparently it is 1861 in America all over again, but – providentially – a modern-day Lincoln is standing by in the wings to save the country from itself. "
